Richard Shaw is an award-winning freelance film and television editor based in Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland, New Zealand. With over 25 years of industry experience, his work spans both narrative drama and documentary and has screened at leading international film festivals including Sundance, Toronto, Rotterdam and SXSW as well as on major networks and streaming platforms.

His diverse credits include the Netflix series "Dark Tourist" and "Midnight Asia",  psychological thriller "Human Traces", British comedy "Seize Them!" and New Zealand drama "We Were Dangerous."
